Dining Events & Happenings SPRING 2008 Here's a little taste of events we offered this past spring: Iron Chef Competition which allows students to watch or participate in the Battle of the Chefs! N'Awlin featuring Washboard Chaz & Band featuring some of New Orleans favorite foods such as boiled crawfish, shrimp & tasso pasta, blackend chicken, and beignets! Also, live entertainment was provided by a popular local band called Washboard Chaz & Band. Gourmet Night was a special treat for the students which included Surf & Turf, Gourmet Cheese Display, and a Chocolate Fountain with a variety of fruits. Healthy Cooking Demo's are educational experiences that teach students how cook a healthy meal in their residence hall. These were led by Corey King our Executive Chef. Take a Professor to Lunch program is available to the first 100 students who apply. This program is designed to provide students and faculty a chance to interact in a setting other than the classroom. A lunch coupon is provided FREE of charge for student and faculty to dine. Cram Jam is a semesterly event designed to give students a break away from studies during finals. The menu is suggested by students and is often late night snack foods!
